today was a deliciously, perfect fall Saturday. Jeremy and I woke up feeling refreshed and had breakfast at a quaint little coffee shop downtown. I had a yummy cup of tropical green Gschwendner tea. It is one of my favorite brands of tea. You can find them at

After breakfast we stopped by the local market to get some squash, tomatillos, and peppers and I discovered some pretty amazing brussell sprout stalks! I have never seen them growing like this. I always buy them in the grocery store in a little box. They are so interesting and fun to look at! I love living in this part of the country where yummy vegetables are grown locally to be enjoyed.
I came home and raked leaves for an hour which wore me out and then bundled up inside with some hot cider and my pathophysiology text book. So my Saturday was not all PLAY. My evening is going to be spent doing laundry and playing with my new (antique) SINGER sewing machine! My father in law found it for me. It is baby blue and so wonderful!!
beautiful photos by matias troncoso. they remind me of the amazing magical world I was in when watching Where The Wild Things Are last weekend. GO see it!!!
so I thought it might be fun to start blogging. I have about 50 blogs bookmarked that I try to visit everyday… everything from fashion and design, to photography, and food. I LOVE being inspired by other people in the world and I love how the internet connects us all! I have no idea what my plan is for this blog other than to possibly inspire someone and to get some thoughts out of my head.
